State Support for Chica Project.

We are extremely excited to announce that Chica Project has been approved to be included in the state budget as a part of the local economic development projects! These funds are instrumental in helping us achieve our dream to see doors wide open for Young Women and Girls of Color! Rooted in our culturally affirming, intergenerational, and asset based framework, we support chicas on a lifelong journey of community and self discovery to build collective power. Our appreciation for our community and state leaders who have helped us get to where we are cannot be overstated. Thank you to Senator Elizabeth Miranda, Senator Lydia Edwards, and Representative Samantha Montaño for their support and effort to get us into the state budget.
