Essex County Community Foundation inspires philanthropy that strengthens the communities of Essex County by managing charitable assets, strengthening and supporting nonprofits, and engaging in strategic community leadership initiatives. Their ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life in the 34 towns and cities of Essex County. 

As a grantor, The Dee & King Webster Memorial Fund for Greater Lawrence works to address the opportunity and achievement gaps faced by thousands of youth across Greater Lawrence. 

At chica project, what we do is who we are. We are proud of the work we do as an incubator of powerhouse Women of Color so that more Brown and Black chicas—of every culture and ethnicity—can reach their full potential. As such, we are pleased to announce that we were recently gifted by The Dee & King Webster Memorial Fund for Greater Lawrence to assist with chica project programs! Our partnerships propel us forward, fuels our drive and helps us change the lives of more and more chicas; for which we are extremely grateful.
