For a decade and a half, Chica Project has worked to become a pillar of support for young Women of Color in the Greater Boston area. Born out of a desire to see youth empowered, Chica Project has been through many periods of growth and change over the years. Reflecting on what an amazing milestone 15 years is, we thought it would be the perfect time to share a bit more about who we are as an organization and what we hope to achieve. 

On Wednesday, April 1, Chica Project, a Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP) grantee, had the chance to visit the Massachusetts State House as part of Youth Mentoring Day, hosted by Mass Mentoring Partnership.

Chica Project’s Quinceañera was more than a celebration—it was a powerful reflection of 15 years of sisterhood, impact, and community. Surrounded by those who have shaped our journey, we honored our past while stepping boldly into the future of empowering young Women of Color.
