Chica Project receives $20,000 from Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation.

Helping make a difference for the organizations that make a difference.

Middlesex Savings Bank is a community bank serving individuals, families and business owners in MA since 1835. They were founded for a specific purpose—to take care of residents of modest means whose needs were not being met by other financial institutions. Inherent in that mission was a commitment to serving the entire community with products and services that were fair and treating every member of the areas they served with respect.

Their charitable foundation has awarded $330,000 in grants to 20 hard-working, change-making, local nonprofits. We are grateful for the support to make what we do possible through their Capacity Building Program, where we were given a grant of $20,000. This grant will be used to support bilingual, culturally affirming programming for Latinx youth in Framingham and Westborough.

We are sending a huge shout out to Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation for their generous donation to our community and thank you for staying true to your mission and being right there with us! Chica Project is grateful and energized by the support we get from community partners! Their support enables us to empower the current and upcoming generations of Women of Color.
